Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar was born on April 24, 1973 in a middle class Marathi family of Rajapur. His's father's name is Ramesh Tendulkar, who was a professor and writer by profession, and his mother's name was Rajni Tendulkar, who worked in an insurance company.

This thing may be rarely known that Sachin Tendulkar was the son of his father Ramesh Tendulkar's second wife. Ramesh Tendulkar had three children of his first marriage.

Sachin Tendulkar's father Ramesh Tendulkar named Tendulkar after the name of his favorite musician Sachin Dev Burman. In 1995, Sachin married Anjali Tendulkar and they also have. two children, whose name is Sara and Arjun.

Early Life of Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin had a passion for cricket since childhood but at the beginning he was very naughty child, Because of this, there was a lot of conflict between him and the school children. 

To reduce Tendulkar's diabolism, Sachin's elder brother Ajit Tendulkar thought of joining Tendulkar in the Cricket Academy in 1984, and took him to Ramakant Achrekar.

Ramakant Achrekar was considered a famous coach of that time. But Sachin could not perform well for the first time, and Achrekar refused to teach him cricket. 

But due to Big Brother Ajit's request, Achrekar again saw Sachin's performance, but this time he was looking Sachin from behind a tree, and then Sachin played a very good match.

From this, he came to know that Sachin is feeling uncomfortable playing only in front of us, and then he took Sachin to his academy and started teaching him cricket. 

Achrekar was very impressed with Sachin's talent and that is why he told Sachin to shift to Shraddha Ashram Bidya Mandir. Because there was a good team of cricket and he think that if Sachin was sent there, then in the atmosphere of cricket, Sachin can be skillful in cricket in the best manner.

Sachin also took admission in that school on the advice of his coach and started playing cricket with a professional team. Along with his studies, he practiced daily in Shivaji Park under the supervision of Achrekar.


While practicing Sachin, his coach used to put a coin on the stumps, and Achrekar used to say to the other players that he bowled to Sachin. The player who Sachin out, coin will be his, and if a player can not out Sachin, then the coin will be Sachin's. Even today, Sachin has  those coins, which he considers the highest reward.

Sachin Tendulkar's First Step in The World of Cricket

On the side of Sachin's hard work and practice, his game was improving day by day, and he became a topic of discussion for the people. He started playing matches from his school team as well as started playing from Bombay's main club.

On 14 November 1987, Tendulkar was selected to play for Mumbai's Ranji Trophy for India's domestic first cricket tournament. But he was not selected in any match in the last 11 list. He was used only for replacement in that whole series. 

On December 11, 1988, at the age of 15, Tendulkar started his career on behalf of Bombay against the Gujrat. In this match, he made a century and became the younger player in the first class cricket to make the younger player in his own. In the whole century, that he became the younger player to make the highest run of the Mumbai. 

After that he was doing his spectacular game and he had made a century in the Iranian Trophy against Delhi. Sachin had made centuries in his own fresh match in Ranjit, Duleep and Iranian Trophy, and doing so, he was a only Batsman of India, and these records did not break anyone till date.

At the age of 16, Sachin's selection of the game in the Indian International Cricket team led to Sachin's magical game. Tendulkar was in November 1989 at just 16 years of age Karachi by starting with his Test debut against Pakistan. Before that, the Indian Selection Committee had expressed the desire to select Sachin for the test of the West Indies.



But he did not want Sachin to face the fast bowlers of the West Indies, and that's why he had given Tendulkar some other time. In Karachi, Sachin scored 15 runs from India's first match against Pakistan and a ball hit in his nose in a match of this series, due to which his blood flowed from his nose. Sachin's First Domestic Match

Sachin played his first domestic match in India against England in 1992-93, which was his 22nd Test match of his Test career. After this, Tendulkar's performance in Australia and South Africa was also very impressive, and he also scored many century. Sachin is the only player in his account to have a world record of making 100 century in international cricket career.

He made 51 centuries in Test series and 49 centuries in ODI cricket. He is the first player to score double century in one-day international cricket history. At the same time, Sachin is the player to play the most ODI international cricket match. He has played 463 ODIs. He has been given many awards for his contribution to the cricketing career.

In 1997-98, he was awarded the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna for the highest honor in the sports world. After that, he was honored with Padma Shri in 1999 and Padma Bibhushan in 2008. In 2013, the Indian Postal Department issued a postal stamp of his name.


He is the only cricketer to be honored with this honor. After recording all the batting records in one-day cricket, Tendulkar announced his retirement from ODI cricket on December 23, 2012.

And then on November 16, 2013, at his domestic match at Wankhede Stadium, he played his last Test match. By winning the Test match, the Indian team gave him emotional farewell.
